About Me

I’m Anna Rothwell, an Independent Parish Councillor representing Beveley Ward on Ketley Parish Council.

I have lived in Millennium Village since 2018 with my partner, our children and our dogs.

My roots in the area go back much further. I grew up around two miles away, my children attend local schools, and I work from home, so this community is very much part of my everyday life.

I also volunteer my time with local causes and organisations and enjoy supporting the projects, events and ideas that help bring people together.

Why I became a councillor

I believe parish councils work best when residents feel listened to and know who they can approach when something needs attention.

I serve as an Independent, which means I approach parish matters on their local merits and focus on what I believe is best for the residents and community I represent.

My priorities as your councillor

A Strong Voice

I listen to residents and raise the everyday issues affecting our area. That can include matters such as nuisance burning, inconsiderate parking, fly-tipping and poor maintenance.

Supporting Our Community

I want to support residents, community groups, volunteers, organisations and local businesses that contribute to making Ketley a good place to live.

Cleaner, Safer Public Spaces

I will continue to raise concerns about the condition of our streets, green spaces and public areas and support efforts to keep them clean, safe and well maintained.

Visible, Accessible & Reliable Representation

I believe being a councillor means being available, responding to residents and following things up. I want people to feel able to approach me and know that their concerns will be taken seriously.
